I've always wanted to go to Finland (I secretly love reindeer)and now I have one more reason...total scene-style cuteness! Bust out the leg warmers and sparkling smiles (sorry, emo kids), this website features many pictures of cleverly dressed Finns.

NOTICE!

"Stop wearing eyeliner guys?" Noooooo, please don't kill the guyliner!
Ok, "concerned music lovers" why are you so sexist? I don't see you putting up flyers asking the girls to not wear eyeliner. If it's about the music, shouldn't you be pointing fingers at both sexes?
Expressing yourself through fashion is a creative act too. Granted, there's a lot of crappy consumerism/conformity that goes along with scene-style when people don't get creative for themselves, but to say being interested in style means you're not interested in music is ignoring the fact that for a lot of kids dressing "scene" really takes some creative guts. Rant over.

Street Fashion
From the streets of Tokyo come some of the most inspiring looks of the season. When these kids wear layers they go the extra yardage and add...more layers!
I used to think they were pretty edgy, but now this site seems like they have a lot of "what to wear to work" looks.
They do feature a lot of nice boy styles too.

Eyeliner for the sympathetic look
Here are four pointers for getting good eyeliner effect:
1) Use eyeliner first, before mascara.
2) Buy liner that comes with a sharpener and a smudge stick
3) While black is beautiful, for light completions, brown looks better, lay it on heavy.
4) Smudge in the first layer for a smoky/sad look, then go over that with a nice sharp, defining line.
Beautiful!

If You Didn't DIY Then It's Just Not Scene?
My friend Agee has got the style gift. Looking like a fashionista fascist from the glory days of the lower east side, she is radically dedicated to scissors, glitter and bleach. "How do you do it," we beg as she struts into last night's pre-party porch outfit check. Her little red jean jacket was newly styled and covered in tiny twisting rose vines that popped pink and white down one sleeve. She said she did it with a bleach pen, but later confessed to using this technique:
